Indonesian landslide kills five
At least five people have died in a landslide caused by heavy rain in the south of the Indonesian island of Sumatra.
Several more people are missing. Many villages in the region have been flooded. Earlier this month, a landslide at a hot springs resort in east Java killed at least 26 people. Environmentalists say logging practices in Indonesia increase the risk of landslides. From the newsroom of the BBC World Service |
