Japanese MP arrested

Prosecutors in Japan have arrested a governing party lawmaker who's suspected of misusing public funds, which were part of a political subsidy to the party.Yojiro Nakajima of the Liberal Democratic party is accused of fabricating receipts for one-hundred-thousand dollars which went missing from funds received from party headquarters.

Earlier this year, another of the party's members of parliament committed suicide just before he was expected to be arrested in a share trading scandal.
