Hong Kong popstar freed on bail

One of Hong Kong's leading popstars, Nicholas Tse, has been released on bail after being questioned in relation to a car accident.

The 21 year-old Mr Tse, who has had a string of hits in the light genre known as Canto-pop, was detained on Thursday on suspicion of trying to shift the blame for a crash of his Ferrari in downtown Hong Kong last month.

The territory's Independent Commission for Corruption said it believed Mr Tse was driving the car and fled the scene, arranging for someone else to take responsibility.

Two other men, including a policeman, were also arrested over the incident.
