Mobil cuts output in Aceh
The US-based international oil company Exxon Mobil says it's significantly cut production in the Indonesian province of Aceh in response to continuing civil unrest there. A spokesman said the company couldn't yet put a figure on the cut, but said the situation in Aceh was beyond the company's control. Two months ago separatists in Aceh warned the company's Indonesian subsidiary to leave the region for its own safety. The company's staff and facilities have frequently been attacked.
