In pictures: Daredevil base-jumpers
Fifty-three thrill-seekers leapt off Kuala Lumpur's broadcast tower on Thursday in a display of base-jumping - a dangerous sport that has been driven underground in many countries.

![]() The sport, which has claimed dozens of lives, is often practised in secret in other countries
![]() But Malaysia appears keen to promote it as a tourist attraction
