Early win for Obama in Dixville Notch

Democrat Barack Obama has won the US presidential vote in the isolated village of Dixville Notch in New Hampshire.

Its residents voted just after midnight on Tuesday 4 November and town clerk Rick Erwin announced the result some 19 hours before the rest of the US.
