New York artists bring abandoned shopping centre to life


The recession may technically be over in the US, but the effects are still obvious on some city streets.

In Brooklyn, in New York City, a group of artists is trying to fill the gap left when investors abandoned a shopping development.

They hope the project will attract additional foot traffic to the street and help revive local businesses.

Imtiaz Tyab reports.
