Russia's annual Victory Day parade in Moscow

For the first time in history, serving British troops are marching past the Kremlin on Red Square as part of Russia's annual Victory Day parade.

The first such event was watched over by Soviet leader Josef Stalin on 24 June 1945, some six weeks after the Allies had secured victory over Nazi Germany.
