New York nanny: 'We are the invisible workforce'


Lawmakers in New York State will soon vote on whether to adopt a bill of rights for domestic workers.

If it is adopted, the 200,000 nannies and housekeepers in the state would have the right to paid holidays, sick leave, and one day off a week.

Barbara Young is a nanny from Barbados who joined the lobby group Domestic Workers United to push for greater employment rights.
