A security camera on the 12th floor of a hotel in Vladiva in Chile captured the moment when the earthquake struck on 27 February.
People rush out of the lounge as tables and chairs fall over and slide across the floor as the 8.8 magnitude earthquake violently shakes the building.
Across Chile nearly 500 people were killed and 1.5m homes were damaged in the earthquake.
