US tornado season arrives early

Tornado season has arrived early in the American state of Oklahoma, with the state experiencing more of extreme weather than usual.

Tornados rarely threaten the area before May, but this is the fifth to strike the state this month.

When one twister touched ground near Elk City, storm chasers were there to catch the moment on camera.

Chris Rogers reports.
