Obama prioritises jobs in key speech

President Barack Obama calls for 'urgent' jobs bill


President Obama has used his first State of the Union address to call for an urgent jobs bill to help the unemployed.

In his speech to Congress, he said: "People are out of work. They are hurting. They need our help."
