'Survivors are the priority'

An earthquake which struck off the coast of Haiti is feared to have caused major loss of life in and around the capital, Port-au-Prince.

Rachel Wolff from the US headquarters of World Vision was in contact with a member of the charity's staff in Haiti just before communications went down.

She said survivors would be a priority for staff on the ground.
