Haitian slave children abused

Up to 300,000 children have been given away by their parents in Haiti.

Many of them end up working for other families as domestic servants. Haiti is one of the world's poorest countries and families who cannot afford to feed their children give them away under what it is called the Restavek system.

It is supposed to ensure the youngsters get food, shelter and schooling.

However as Mike Thomson reports from Haiti the reality is very different.
