Obama faces pressure over troops

President Obama is under increasing pressure to commit more resources to Afghanistan.

He is still considering a request from General McChrystal for 40,000 extra US troops, and has had another meeting with his top military advisers.

But now the president is facing Republican accusations that he is "dithering".
