Obama cautious about US recovery

The latest figures from the United States show its economy is emerging from recession and growing for the first time in more than a year.

It grew at an annual rate of 3.5% between July and September.

That is better than many economists had been expecting, and the fastest growth rate for two years.

President Obama said he was pleased but believed there will still a long way to go to fully restore the economy.
