Annie Le's body had been hidden within a wall at Yale, local police say

Authorities in the US state of Connecticut say a body found inside a wall cavity at Yale University is that of missing student, Annie Le. The state's chief medical examiner said her death was homicide. The precise cause of death has been withheld "to help facilitate the investigation", he added. Ms Le, 24, was reported missing last week and was due to marry days later. Police say it was a targeted killing and other students are not in danger. The victim was last seen entering a medical research building accessible only to Yale students and staff, police said on Sunday. Surveillance video showed her arriving but not leaving. The authorities say the body was found in a deep recess within a wall - in an area where cables, pipes and ducts run between floors. Police say her fiance is not a suspect and has assisted in the investigation.
