Obama demands healthcare action


President Obama has made one of the most important speeches of his presidency - outlining his controversial proposals for an overhaul of his country's healthcare system.

He told a joint session of Congress that members should stop bickering and work together. The debate over health has divided the Democratic party and caused the president's public popularity to fall.
