Police investigating the abduction of Jaycee Lee Dugard have extended their search to the house next to the property where she was held for 18 years.

Phillip Garrido, who is accused of abducting Ms Dugard when she was 11, reportedly took care of the neighbouring house before current resident Damon Robinson moved in.

Jimmy Lee, spokesman for the Contra Costa County Sheriff's Department, said Mr Robinson was not a suspect in the investigation.
