US corruption probe nets dozens

The mayors of three towns in the US state of New Jersey, along with several rabbis, have been arrested over alleged corruption and money laundering.

Two members of the New Jersey state legislature were also among more than 40 people detained.

U.S Attorney, Ralph Marra said "these complaints paint a disgraceful picture of religious leaders heading money laundering crews - acting as crime bosses".
