Nicaraguan president wants another term

The president of Nicaragua, Daniel Ortega, has marked the 30th anniversary of the leftist Sandinista revolution by saying he wants to change the constitution to allow him to stand for another term in office.

He told thousands of supporters who had gathered to celebrate the event that he intended to hold a referendum to change the law.
