Roxana Saberi, the Iranian-American journalist released from prison in Iran two weeks ago, has returned to her home state of North Dakota.

The 32-year-old reporter was freed after spending four months in jail on spying charges. She was originally sentenced to eight years, but the term was cut on appeal to a two-year suspended sentence.

Ms Saberi was greeted by crowds at Fargo International Airport, where she spoke of her affection for the Iranian people and said she hoped relations between the US and Iran could improve.
