Radical face transplant a success

The first person to receive a face transplant in the United States has spoken about the operation, thanking the donor and doctors who made it possible.

Connie Culp's nose, cheeks, roof of her mouth and an eye were shattered when her husband shot her five years ago. Doctors had to replace 80% of her face during the ground-breaking operation.

Mike Sergeant reports.
