Shops shut in Mexico City

Mexico has started to shut down non-essential parts of the economy in an effort to contain the outbreak of swine flu.

For the next five days, millions of Mexicans are being urged to stay at home.

Stephen Gibbs takes a look around a street in the heart of Mexico City.
