Fears mount over Mexican flu


Authorities in Mexico are taking emergency measures to tackle an outbreak of a new kind of swine flu that is suspected of killing 60 people and infecting hundreds more.

Public events were suspended and residents wore face masks as concern grew over the outbreak.

World Health Organization's spokesman Gregory Hartl told the BBC they are 'very concerned'.
