Widow leads fight for polygamy

Some 40,000 people in the US state of Utah live in illegal polygamous families in which a man takes more than one wife.

These fundamentalist Mormons have now begun a campaign to lobby for a change in the law that they see as discriminatory and unfair.

Anne Wilde, who is now widowed, lived in a polygamous marriage for more than 30 years.

She spoke to Humphrey Hawksley about her relationship with her husband and his other wives.
