British Antarctic claims rejected

Congressmen from Argentina and Chile have rejected British claims over Antarctic territory and the surrounding seabed.

In 2007, Britain announced that it planned to claim sovereignty over a piece of the Antarctic seabed that overlaps with areas claimed by Argentina and Chile.
