Water skiing Santa

Hundreds of people have watched the annual tradition of seeing Santa on water skis at National Harbor near Washington DC.

The spectacle started more than 20 years ago when Santa took to the Potomac River as a joke and has since grown bigger and bigger.

For his 23rd performance Santa was joined by a cast of other characters including nine knee-boarding reindeer.
