Dominican stowaways found dead in plane

Two young stowaways from the Dominican Republic have been found dead in the casing around the wheel of an Airbus 330 airliner which landed in the Swedish capital, Stockholm.

Airport authorities say the bodies had probably been in the plane since Friday when it left the Dominican Republic.

It then flew to Crete and back to Stockholm before the bodies were found inside two small compartments in the wheelhouse.

One official said the stowaways would have needed help or specialist knowledge to get into them.
