Up to five million people in southern California are taking part in America's biggest-ever earthquake drill.

The hypothetical scenario - dubbed The Great Southern California Shake-out - is based on a quake with a magnitude of 7.8.

In this broadcast, organisers offer practical advice on what to do if an earthquake strikes.
