Obama urges political fix in Iraq

Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama has said that a 'political solution' was needed for Iraq so US troops could concentrate on the war in Afghanistan.

Speaking at a news conference, Mr Obama said the situation in Afghanistan was both 'perilous and urgent'.

Gavin Hewitt reports from the Jordanian capital, Amman.
