A tight-rope walker has broken the world record, set by his grandfather, for a high-wire distance walk without a safety net or harness.

Rick Wallenda completed a 2,000 feet (609m) walk across a high-wire that was 112 feet (34m) up in the air in the United States.

There is no commentary on this footage.
