A 30-year-old, 140 tonne Tudor mansion sailed across Lake Washington as it began a journey to its new home in Vancouver Island, Canada.
The house was bought for one dollar plus a donation to a housing charity after the previous owners decided to rebuild on the land in a suburb close to Seattle.
Having crossed the lake the house then had to be navigated through a series of locks which were far more suited to much smaller vessels.
