US Voters' Views 2008: Iowa
In the run-up to the US presidential elections we are asking a panel of BBC News website users to share their opinions and views.

Iowa is the first state to start selecting candidates for the presidential race. Who will it support? Will it be Hillary Clinton, John Edwards or Barack Obama for the Democrats? Mike Huckabee or Mitt Romney for the Republicans? We asked six Iowa residents to tell us who they are backing and why.

These panellists will be sending us their views again after the Iowa caucuses. Look out for their reaction and an update on their opinions after the results are out on 4 January.

We also want to hear what you think, so send us your comments using the form after each person's views.

The readers' panel has been selected from as wide a cross-section of people as possible and may not be representative of wider US public opinion.
