Colombia car bomb kills four

A car bomb has exploded in a town outside the Colombian capital, Bogota, killing four people and injuring at least fourteen others.

It was the second fatal bomb attack in the area in less than a week.

The explosion happened in the centre of Cachipay, some forty kilometres from Bogota.

No one has admitted responsibility, but the authorities are blaming rebels from the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, or FARC.

Officials also say the FARC was behind a bombing on Sunday in Girardot, a popular holiday town ninety kilometres south-west of Bogota.

One person died and around twenty were injured
