In 10 words or less:
"A liberal Jew with a cynical view"

President Bush has performed exactly the way I thought he would - terribly.

As a result, I'm actually feeling good about this past year.

We have a president that I did not support or vote for, who broke his promises to the American people that I didn't agree with anyway.

Bush promised to protect his view of the "sanctity of marriage", but he hasn't even mentioned it since the election.

I was worried when Bush promised to appoint social conservative judges, but John Roberts didn't come across that way, Harriet Miers' nomination was a total disaster and from what we are learning about her replacement Samuel Alito, he has never had a social agenda.

He has also continued to show the world that he values loyalty over competence.

This was demonstrated in his nomination of Harriet Miers, and appointment of Michael Brown - who was forced to quit Fema after its response to Hurricane Katrina - and in keeping Rumsfeld on staff.

US VOTERS' VIEWS
His energy reform bill did exactly what I expected it to do - give huge concessions to the energy companies.

The Iraq situation was a mess before the election and has improved at a very slow pace, while at the same time costing many lives.

Bush promised to bring integrity to the White House, but the recent CIA indictments and continuing investigation demolishes that notion.

But what I perceive as his biggest failure was demonstrated by Katrina.

There is no excuse for the government being so ill prepared for this disaster, especially after 9/11.

Overall, the best part of term two, year one? Bush's current 39% approval rating.
