Clinton affair haunts Lewinsky
Monica Lewinsky
Ms Lewinsky has presented a reality TV dating show
Monica Lewinsky's highly-publicised affair with US President Bill Clinton is harming her love life, she said.

The former White House intern told GQ magazine she dated occasionally, but men could not handle her infamous past.

"If I were a guy and I'd heard all this things about a girl, I don't know that I'd want to take her out either," Ms Lewinsky told the men's magazine.

Bill Clinton's affair nearly lost him the presidency - he was impeached in 1998 but later acquitted.

Since then, Ms Lewinsky, 30, has hosted a reality television show in the US, Mr Personality, released a book and has designed handbags.

But admitted she was impatient at the lack of serious romantic interest.

"The one thing I don't do well with, with a guy, is ambivalence," she told the magazine.

"I want to shake them and say, 'C'mon, just like me!"

She also said she wished she had never had even met Mr Clinton .

"Yeah, there's no doubt about it," she said. "If the choice were all or nothing, I'd take it all back."

And she tried to shake off rumours that she had made a fortune out of the scandal.

She said: "People who have this idea that I have millions of dollars or even a million, or close to a million, are off their rocker."
