In pictures: Venezuela strike chaos
There have been further clashes in the Venezuelan capital Caracas between supporters and opponents of President Hugo Chavez, as the country's general strike enters its second month.
Scores were injured when Chavez supporters clashed with opposition demonstrators
Police used rubber bullets and tear gas to keep the two sides apart
At least three people were wounded after unidentified gunmen opened fire
Pro-Chavez protesters tried to prevent their opponents marching to the city's main barracks
The crippling strike began early in December when protesters demanded Mr Chavez' resignation
Many of the country's oil workers, including tanker crews, joined the stoppage
The oil industry - the main source of government revenue - has been virtually paralysed
The government drafted in soldiers to keep limited fuel supplies running
