Storms sweep Argentina and Chile
Reports from Argentina say heavy rains and strong winds have killed three people and driven about 3,000 from their homes.
Local authorities have declared a state of alert in the province of Buenos Aires. Storms are also causing havoc in neighbouring Chile, with the southern provinces of Rio Negro and Chubut particularly badly affected. From the newsroom of the BBC World Service
