In pictures: US bridge collapse
It will be some time before the number of fatalities is known in Sunday's bridge disaster in Oklahoma. The captain of the tug that propelled two barges into the bridge was soon after taken to hospital.
The accident happened at a time when the road was not busy
The captain of the tug pulling the two barges is believed to have suffered a blackout
Dozens of cars plunged into the water
This truck is just feet away from the centre of the collapse
Relatives fear the death toll could rise
The search for survivors goes on
