Thousands of people have taken part a mass rally in Washington in support of Israel, bussed in from more than 15 states and Canada.

Former Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, US Deputy Defence Secretary Paul Wolfowitz, former New York Mayor Rudolph Giuliani and members of the US Congress spoke to the crowds on Capitol Hill.
