Masai warriors 'protect' lions

A group of Masai warriors in Kenya have turned from hunting lions to protecting them as part of a unique wildlife project.

They have been employed by a conservation charity to help track the lions and document their whereabouts.

Amy Howard from "Living with Lions" says the support from the Masai warriors has been invaluable, as they tell their communities where the lions are, so there is less conflict between their animal herds and the lions.

Dimitri O'Donnell reports.
