More than 100 surfers in Cape Town in South Africa are waiting to see if they have officially broken the world record for surfing on a wave.

Surfers must all ride the wave together for at least five seconds.

Brazil currently holds the record with 100 people, but organiser Dean Botha said he had counted 125 people this time round.
