Egypt loses taste for belly dancing


Belly dancing is said to have been practised in Egypt since the time of the pharoahs and is increasing in popularity internationally.

Every year thousands of women go to Cairo for classes and festivals, but in Egypt itself, some experts fear the dance is in danger of dying out.

Yolande Knell reports.
