Peacekeepers join Somalia battle

Officials in Somalia say African Union peacekeepers have joined an offensive by government troops against Islamist militants.

The peacekeepers, who have strict rules of engagement, intervened after the insurgents almost fought their way to the presidential palace in Mogadishu. Lucy Williamson reports.
