Obama welcomed to Ghana

President Obama has been officially welcomed to Ghana by President John Atta Mills on his first visit to sub-Saharan Africa since taking office.

Mr Obama inspected a military honour-guard outside the presidential palace before holding talks with the Ghanian president.

The BBC's Will Ross described what President Obama's visit to Ghana will involve.
