AU asks for sanctions on Eritrea

The African Union has asked the UN Security Council to impose sanctions against Eritrea for supporting insurgents in Somalia.

Hundreds more people have fled their homes after a day of fierce fighting between government forces and insurgents in Mogadishu.

Elizabeth Blunt reports from Addis Ababa.
