South Africans queue to vote in poll

South Africans have been queuing to make their mark in the general election.

More than 23 million people have registered to vote and officials are expecting a turnout of about 80%.

Meanwhile broadcasters have shown South Africa's caretaker president Kgalema Motlanthe casting his vote.
