Thousands of refugees in the Democratic Republic of Congo face a battle to find enough food and water to survive after being forced to flee from their homes.

Consultant surgeon David Nott has experienced the humanitarian crisis first hand as a volunteer with the charity Medecins Sans Frontieres.
