Queen arrives for Kampala summit
Queen Elizabeth arrives in Kampala for CHOGM 2007
The Queen will open the summit on Friday
Queen Elizabeth has arrived in the Ugandan capital, Kampala, ahead of the Commonwealth heads of government meeting which gets under way on Friday.

The Queen flew into Entebbe airport accompanied by her husband Prince Phillip, days after they celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.

The Commonwealth groups 53 countries, most of them former British colonies.

Top of this year's agenda are Pakistan, climate change and the need for fairer world trade.

Pakistan's seat at the Commonwealth foreign ministers' meeting was noticeably empty ahead of discussions on whether the country should be suspended from the community unless the state of emergency is lifted and democracy restored.
